Susie Plettner submits her poem, written on October 19, 2004, to share with us in The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter, issue Number 46, Fall 2004:
*******************
Rain hits adobe tiled roof, breaks into humming and falls in an unbroken line towards the wild anise below.
I found the experienced breath in my hands. The shapes and sounds of eternity held within the open palm, I am fluent in the language of touch.
May I reach to wash your heart with laughter and heal the chaos within? We become still when we receive eternity.
A community of lullabies awakes within the body. Tree branches reach toward heaven as our roots kneel down to kiss the earth.
Leaves let go to caress the wind. We close our eyes to release the sweet summer smile of the mind.
When tears fall one thousand wishes scatter. I exhale and listen to the push of my breath pull me into this moment. The Healer is we and we are the Healer.
As we brew and drink from the tea of inquiry, we surrender our personal consciousness to the direction of universal mind and remember this:
We belong to the universe and we are strong enough for peace.
