Peacemaking

Last week I published an article written by Christine Anne entitled “Vehicle for Peace”. Philomena Dooley comments on that article in The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter, issue Number 41, Summer 2003:

In the Main Central Spring issue, Christine Anne in her article “Vehicle for Peace” reminded me of my experience earlier this year. I was scheduled to present a Jin Shin Jyutsu 5-day basic class in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, January 14-18, 2003.

Much noise was coming from Washington, D.C. as to when they were going to attack Iraq, Dubai’s next-door neighbor. Friends and family were asking me not to go, they were concerned for my safety in traveling to that part of the world in such troubled times. (My children lost their Dad nineteen years earlier in 1983 in a hostile air attack; 279 passengers and crew were lost.)

My third son, Michael, said, “Mom, if you really want to go to Dubai, I will come with you.” From the moment we arrived in Dubai, we were greeted with open arms. This was the third Jin Shin Jyutsu class to be held here. Excitement was high as now many would be receiving practitioner status. The organizers did a wonderful job. The class was held in a beautiful setting. Some students had arrived from neighboring countries. I was humbled by the warmth and beauty of the class. There were thirty-three students plus Michael and myself, altogether we were twenty-two nationalities in one room sharing the beautiful Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy, Getting to Know and Help Myself. It was awesome, some local students brought needy children in during lunch time or in the evenings. Simply being the observer of the transformations was amazing. Amazing Grace. In the twenty-five years that I have been using the Jumper Cables, I have had many moving experiences. However, given the state of the world and the many nations in turmoil, being with this multinational group was awe-inspiring. I frequently receive emails and phone calls telling stories and asking what to do to harmonize various conditions.

“The creative power of this entire universe lies within each one – Myself.” ~ Mary Burmeister

Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy brings peace and harmony to many corners of the world. “Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me.” Thank you, God. Thank you, Mary. We are blessed.

Thank you, Philomena.

Thank you, Mary.

Thank you, David.

Gassho, Namaste, Blessings
