Iole M. Lebensztajn on Safety Energy Lock “11”

This is article #12 of a series of articles by our IT IS Seminar faculty on the Safety Energy Locks from a Self-help perspective. The series begins in Issue Number 36, Spring 2002, of The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter.

Iole M. Lebensztajn continues the series with her article in The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter, issue Number 47, Winter 2005:

Becoming Lighter with Safety Energy Lock 11

In 1994 I was invited to an interview in a TV show. It was the first time I would talk about Jin Shin Jyutsu in this kind of setting.

At that time I was a “4 year old” student. As you can imagine I was a “little” apprehensive because it is always a great responsibility to talk about Jin Shin Jyutsu. I couldn’t stop ruminating. “I have to honor the Physio-Philosophy taught by Mary, I have to be the clearest I can be, I have to convey the message in 10 minutes, I have to…”

Finally I realized that I needed something to help my shoulders drop, getting rid of all those “I have to’s.” As often in this kind of situation, my hands have “thought” much better than my mind. My right hand went straight to my left shoulder and my left thumb covered my left ring fingernail (see page 32 Self-Help Book 2). Almost immediately a deep exhale happened (11 is an amplified 1 bringing an amplified exhale) and I could feel peace and harmony from head to toes, toes to head. I kept jumper cabling myself in that position until I was called to start my interview.

Shortly, everything flowed in a very smooth way. Safety Energy Lock 11 supported me by feeling really tuned in during the entire interview, and maybe it affected even the journalists (they were two). Guess which was the only Safety Energy Lock one of them asked about? Yes, touching her 11’s she asked me what to do to help this area of prevalent tension in everyone’s lives and why it gets so tense. Of course, I showed her the Self-Help described above and told her that we often carry excess baggage on our shoulders, represented by all the “should’s” and “have to’s.” “Moreover,” I said, “we are afraid of letting our light shine before everyone, which prevents us from seeing the abundance which we really are.”

At the end of the interview, knowing it was my first time being interviewed in a TV show, the journalists were amazed by my serenity and how comfortable I was. They have remarked that it looked like I did that every day.

In fact Safety Energy Lock 11 melted away the tension to open myself to harmony. Besides that, by harmonizing all the neck and throat area, I believe it also eased my expression to be very simple and natural. I don’t know about the viewers, but everybody at the TV studio was having FUN. The entire atmosphere became Lighter.

Thank you, Iole.

Thank you, Mary.

Thank you, David.

Gassho, Namaste, Blessings
