This is article #22 of a series of articles by our IT IS Seminar faculty on the Safety Energy Locks from a Self-help perspective. The series begins in Issue Number 36, Spring 2002, of The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter.
Iole Lebensztajn continues the series with her article in The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter, issue Number 57, Summer 2007:
Safety Energy Lock 20 – Celebrating Life
Celebrating Cristina’s Life
In this issue of the Main Central I was responsible for writing about Safety Energy Lock 20 in the Living the Art series of articles. Many thoughts came to my mind, but I couldn’t find the time and the inspiration to start writing, and I couldn’t understand why.
After Cristina Minamisawa’s crossing the Bridge back to our Source of Life, I have understood why.
Safety Energy Lock 20 is Eternity, Everlasting.
Safety Energy Lock 20 reminds us that our physical body is ephemeral but Life is Eternal. Life is all the time changing the way it expresses itself, constantly re-creating itself anew. Safety Energy Lock 20 allows us to open our eyes to see Life and Death with clearness, perceiving that there is no failure in Death, as there is no failure in Life. Safety Energy Lock 20 brings the higher comprehension of human personality that lets me and others create and recreate life the way each one chooses, with no judgment and no failure.
Safety Energy Lock 20 is Perpetual Consciousness, bringing the awareness of the past, the present and the future and the realization that the only time that really exists is the NOW. It helps us to understand our life process, our life story. Comprehending how our past thoughts and beliefs have created the present, we can change our present thoughts to create a new and different future.
Safety Energy Lock 20 helps us to remember.
I look at my life when Cristina was still physically present, and I remember the days we spent reviewing the translation of the Self-Help Books, Texts 1 and 2, The Touch of Healing, “What Mary Says…” I remember how mindful and precise she was and how pleasant and inspiring it was to discuss Physio-Philosophy with her. Looking back, reminiscing about the classes that she translated into Portuguese, I remember how she was able to let her Self go to be completely in tune with the teacher, translating the message through her voice, conveying the teacher’s gestures and emotions, being in the NOW.
Margareth U. Serra, Cristina and I were partners at the Brazilian Jin Shin Jyutsu office. And I remember how we supported and encouraged each others’ feelings, thoughts, acts and creativity. I remember how enthusiastic Cristina is about Life and about Jin Shin Jyutsu, the Art of Living. I remember when she was giving a Jin Shin Jyutsu session to me or to another person, how careful she was about listening to all aspects and talking with her hands and with her words in a very accurate way.
Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to be in an entire class with Cristina, because when she started teaching, I started having my children. But I am sure she brought her authenticity, her common sense and clarity to all her classes.
Cristina, now you are much closer to the Cosmic Awareness (#20) that you are a member of the Unity. Now you fully re-member. You are a member of the Source again. And we always remember you. As Mary says at page 51, in Self-Help Book II, where she talks about Safety Energy Lock 20, “I am the Star, I am the Planet, I am the Cosmos.” Your smile had the brightness of a Star. Know that this planet is a better place because of your way of touching people. Now you have a much broader perspective of “I am the Cosmos.”
At that same page, Mary teaches us to help 20 by holding the 22s which help us to be happy and content and adapt to this new situation of not having Cristina physically manifested on the Planet, but always present in our memory which resides in our hearts. In Portuguese, the word “celebrate” and “commemorate” (which has to be with memory, remembering) are synonyms. So let’s celebrate with joy all that Cristina has taught us with her LIFE! Thanks, Cristina.
Thank you, Iole.
Thank you, Mary.
Thank you, David.
Gassho, Namaste, Blessings
