SPRING

Lynne Pflueger writes about Spring in The Main Central Jin Shin Jyutsu Newsletter, issue Number 52, Spring 2006:

“I want to do with you what Spring does with the cherry trees.” ~ Pablo Neruda

Spring is Third Depth. Third Depth is our Blood Essence or Quintessence, the harmonizer of the four elements. Paracelsus said that disease will occur only if two or more elements (fire, air, earth, water) begin to intermingle in such a way that they cause disharmony in one another.

“Mankind possesses within himself what is called in alchemy the quintessence or the fifth essence. This is a psychic or spiritual energy, superior to the elements, by the agency of which these elements can be bound and unbound, held together in conformity with the laws governing the human creation. This quintessence, or fifth power, was known to both the Pythagoreans and the Paracelsians as the ‘soul’, which permeated the flesh of Adam, ensouled him, so that he became indeed a living being.” PARACELSUS by Manly P. Hall

In the context of the Order of Creation on page three in Text 2, our Third Depth provides the energy needed for each of us to come into manifestation. Beginning at midnight with our Gall Bladder Function, energy flows into a new day. The story of Cinderella changing into another form at the stroke of midnight comes to mind. Mary says that every fairy tale holds universal truths and principles. Continuing with the Order of Creation, Third Depth is the gateway from the unmanifest into the manifest. As the invisible begins to transform into the visible, the energy is all One, simply changing form and vibration, similar to a change of costume. During times of transition, hanging out in the void, I have sometimes thought of using Third Depth flows on myself so that something, anything, will manifest.

“until out of merely nothing comes only one snowflake (and we speak our names)” ~ e.e. cummings

Looking at Nature, we can easily see the vibrant, dynamic energy of Spring when the earth reawakens once again following Winter. On the Lumbar Circle level, Fourth Depth (Winter) supports Third Depth (Spring). On the Main Central level, Third Depth is located in the Sacrum. Refer to page 43, Text 2. Using flows then to open the base of the spine will harmonize the process of freeing energy that is stuck in the lower back. This may show itself by a very heavy hipline and coccyx, pain, discomfort, or stiffness. The Umbilicus flow will help energy to rise up out of the hips, Sixth Depth giving Third Depth a little push. One of my favorites for clearing the Sacrum is the 23-25 Flow. Safety Energy Lock 25 is Fifth Depth fire (light your fire) which will unburden Third Depth. 23 is Fourth Depth, which will support Third Depth. As I jumper cable my way upward, I often move my hand inch by inch as I travel from 25 to 23. As the base of the spine opens and ascending energy is free to move, the physical being will be nurtured and nourished.

Safety Energy Lock 8 holds the meaning of and helps to harmonize Third Depth. Our 8s will open the Sacrum. The 5, 6, 7, 8 Flow will open the hipline. The first step (opposite side) is a dynamic helper anytime one is experiencing hip discomfort. The number 8 is magic, the number of infinity. Spring is magic. We here in Northern California are having a Spring day. Everyone is coming alive.

Thank you, Lynne.
