17. ANTERIOR-POSTERIOR VERTICAL HARMONY ENERGY (Eternal Life Energy)

These two little circles are the windows which allow light and air into the brain, our inner sanctum, our Temple of life, the structure and the foundation of our body. We are awaiting deeper understanding of these mammillary bodies and pg. 41, Text 2 is leading us into the thalamus, the inner room, to uncover their meaning, purpose and function.

In the A & Q Text, Mary states that “HEAVEN is HEAD. HEAD is the residence of the Soul. Therefore, the HEAD which is located at the top of the body is the SOURCE of Life. …HEAVEN, the HEAD, is the center where the orders for the construction of the body is located, the foundation.” (p.7) Those two little circles are accessing the Fifth Depth through our breath, through our sense of smell, our olfactory nerves and through our 3rd eye. We are bringing in the light and constructing the body in the head through those two little circles. Every time we breath, we are inhaling light; every time we open our eyes we are seeing the light. Our head and the Temple of Luxor, have a metaphysical connection and maybe even a design and structural connection. “HEAVEN, the HEAD, is the foundation of Life, Existence, Living.” (p. 7, A & Q)

According to Edgar Cayce, the highest chakra is not the crown chakra, but is the 3rd eye. The 3rd eye, right where the little circle is, is the highest chakra, and chakras are spiritual structures, energy vortexes and related to the endocrine glands on the physical plane. “Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me,” is about the question mark (?) shape of the staff, and the rod is the exclamation mark (!). Therefore both the rod and the staff access the head through the intersection of two perpendicular lines. The first step of the Self-Help Main Central is accessing the inner chamber of 5th Depth, our spiritual inheritance, and helps us resolve the dispute about the highest chakra. There is no dispute. The highest chakra is deep inside the head accessed directly from above and/or accessed from between the 3rd eye. (This also helps us understand why we hold between the 3rd eye on the Main Central Vertical Flow and the top of the head on the 3rd Method of Correction. We are merely connecting to that inner room from different vantage points.) From Mary’s diagram on MUSIC and the Endocrine System, the thalamus is energetically both the Light and Wisdom and correlates to the musical note B.

It is a Kabbalistic maxim that properties are discerned by the nose. We literally smell out the truth. Our sense of smell is associated with keen perception and sagacity. Our sense of smell is carried through the breath and through the air that we breathe. It is our sense of smell that is developed in 5th Depth. Our sense of smell is “probably the oldest and least understood of our five senses.” (from Atlas of Anatomy, by Trevor Weston, p. 57) It is through our breath, the first organ function we perform on planet earth, that our sense of smell is carried, (2nd and 5th Depths working together) inhaling the Light (7th Depth) directly into the center of our head where the thalamus, hypothalamus, pituitary, pineal glands and mammillary bodies reside. Is it possible we have smelled out a little truth about this page from the heavenly perfumed scents and the vibrant colors in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden? That afternoon in the Garden, I can personally say, was one of the closest experiences I have ever had to HEAVEN on earth.
