Autonomy to Create my Own Life…

“Yes, creativity is another very important quality to be developed now, and it is a wonderful demonstration of power, the power to create, to be like the Creator, to perform who I am meant to be, the co-creator of my own life. Now I am on the top (the top of the head, see page 43 Text 2) with all autonomy that I dreamed to have when I was 4 or 5 years old. Oh, my God, and now? What do I do with that? I look to my back, and I see all the steps I have traced until now. And from the top I can have a glimpse of what life is inviting me to.

Often during this time I start playing different and new roles, like the wife, the mother, the engineer, etc. And if I identify myself with these roles, they become like masks that I use to define who I am, and sometimes I hide my true self behind these personas pretending (5th Depth attitude) I am these characters.

Heart reminds us about Love. When I love myself I have the accurate perception of my potentials, my qualities and also my limits and necessities, and I am proud of being exactly as I am. By the end of Heart time, I have had experiences enough to be aware of my efficiencies and deficiencies, and it is time to accept and love myself instead of trying to be who I am not, which unfortunately happens to many of us. When I have this profound acceptance of myself, of course, it will be easier to accept and love others and to find a partner who also loves me.

Astrologically this period of life includes the Saturn Return. When Saturn in the heavens returns to the zodiacal degree where he was placed in our birth chart, we experience our Saturn Return. It only happens once every 29 years, so at around age 28-30, 57-59 and (if you live long enough) 86-88 we have what astrologers call a Saturn Return. This is a very intense time of transformation, an emotional transition from one life-phase to the next. It is a period of many opportunities to make important choices and decisions, moving out of unconscious patterns and obsolete conceptions of our purpose into more deliberate and thoughtful expressions of our unfulfilled self.

During the first Saturn Return people begin having a broader sense of responsibility not only about themselves but also about those around them. They realize now that their decision will affect their loved ones and people that depend on them like spouses, children, employees. They become more aware of their power and authority. Heart is related to power and authority, the time when we can finally be the kings or the queens of our own lives by having the reins of our lives in our own hands.

Now that I have freedom, I can sacrifice my uniqueness, or I have the choice to be responsible for my life and follow my Heart.”
