PROJECT NO. III – GENERAL DAILY SEQUENCES
The following third sequence is for general daily supply of energy by simply utilizing combinations of the 26 “keys” for unlocking the “safety energy locks” located on the “monitor” or “supervisor” energy pattern.

C) For General Daily “individualized” body energy revitalizing of POSTERIOR DESCENDING (down the back of body) energy – for RIGHT side of body:

1) Place left fingers on RIGHT side of cervical vertebrae (on neck between ear and spine).

2) Place right hand (back of hand or palm side) at base of spine (coccyx).

3) Move right fingers to back of RIGHT knee (center back of knee).

4) Move right fingers to RIGHT lateral (outer) side of ankle below RIGHT ankle bone.

5) Move right fingers to RIGHT little toe (sandwich little toe with thumb and a finger).

This sequence aids in releasing tensions causing head, back, elimination, and leg discomforts.

The above is the sequence for the right side energy pattern.
The sequence for the left side of the body is simply in reverse.

NOTE: As time permits, both the right and left sequences may be applied. However, if time does not permit, or only one side of the body is tense, only left or right side need be applied. Each position should be held until you can “hear” of feel the body pulse come into rhythm with the universe. Until practice “hearing” your body pulse is accomplished, try to hold each position for a minimum of two minutes (which is a long time) or more if one position is more tense than the others.

Project No. #3, the three sequences outlined in yesterday’s and today’s posts, are for special daily maintenance to be in complete harmony mentally, emotionally, digestively and physically.

…about Valentine’s Day, 2014, and how it finally stopped snowing and I’m snowed in under 14+ inches of snow with more to come tomorrow and suffering somewhat from cabin fever so I grabbed a book from the shelf, “The Book of Useless Information”, and thought, well, since the sun has appeared for however briefly, it is time to be a little silly…(forget good grammar and sentence structure just for today).

PROJECT NO. III – GENERAL DAILY SEQUENCES
The following three sequences are for general daily supply of energy by simply utilizing combinations of the 26 “keys” for unlocking the “safety energy locks” located on the “monitor” or “supervisor” energy pattern.

A) For general energy revitalizing – For RIGHT side of body:

1) Place left hand (palm side or back of hand, whichever is most comfortable) at base of spine (coccyx).

2) Place right hand on RIGHT medial (inner) side of ankle bone (between inner side ankle bone and inner side heel).

3) Move right hand to base of center of LEFT front rib cage.

4) Move left hand to center of RIGHT third rib from right clavicle (collar bone), just above right breast area.

5) Move left hand to center of LEFT clavicle (collar bone) between clavicle and first rib.

The above is the sequence for the right side energy pattern.
The sequence for the left side of the body is simply in reverse.

B) For general daily energy revitalizing of ANTERIOR DESCENDING energy (down the front of the body) – RIGHT side of body:

1) Place left fingers at center of RIGHT cheek bone.

2) Place right fingers at center of RIGHT clavicle (collar bone).

3) Move right fingers to base of center of LEFT front rib cage.

4) Move right fingers to LEFT small of back (above LEFT waist at base of LEFT back rib cage).

5) Move right fingers to base of center of RIGHT front rib cage.

6) Move right fingers to medial (inner) side of LEFT thigh about 3″ above LEFT knee.

7) Move right fingers halfway down calf about midway between lateral (outer) side of knee and ankle, off the LEFT shin bone.

8) Move right fingers to LEFT middle toe (sandwich middle toe with a finger and thumb).

NOTE: Left fingers have been on the base of RIGHT cheek bone throughout this sequence, and only right fingers have been moved.

This sequence aids in releasing tensions causing head, breathing, digestive discomforts and bloating, as well as weight problems.

The above is the sequence for the right side energy pattern.
The sequence for the left side of the body is simply in reverse.

I’m thinking…

…that it is a difficult thing to move…change residences, that is.

I apologize for not posting on a regular basis, dear readers.
I hired packers/movers, but never imagined there would be so many little things that have to be taken care of!

Still, change is good! 🙂

PROJECT NO. II – ATTITUDES
Attitude is key to our harmony with the universe.
Attitudes: Worry, fear, anger, grief, pretense (cover-up) are all results of disharmony and “run-down” “individualized” energy. Fear is the “core” of all attitudes.

Mary writes: “Revitalizing through the simple usage of the fingers and thumbs to melt away daily fatigue caused through being unaware, or even being aware, but not knowing how to keep from burdening the body with the stress and strain of daily existing and not “LIVING”. The body is affected by the air, food, actions, thoughts, etc., that make up each moment in the Art of Living. It is comforting to know that “tools” we need to be in harmony with the universe, our fingers and thumbs, are with each one of us at all times. We need never fear that we have forgotten or misplaced our fingers and thumbs. Each finger and each thumb are the simple unlocking keys to harmonizing attitudes.”

(I wish to digress for a moment here. I remember a man who had lost 3 fingers from his right hand in an accident. It is a good time to mention that even though a physical part is gone, the energy of that part remains. We’ve all heard of “phantom limb pain”. When someone loses a leg, for instance, they can still feel pain or itching in the toes that are no longer visible. When I work with an amputee, I use my “jumper-cable” hands as though the toes were still there, and “hold” the invisible energetic toe. So if someone, like the man I know, wanted to accomplish Project No. II – Attitudes, he simply holds the place where the physical finger used to be.)

Thumb ~ Worry (depression, hate, obsession, anxiety, self-protection) is an imbalance in our “individualized” stomach and spleen energy pattern.

a. Gently wrap the left thumb and fingers around the right thumb.
b. Gently wrap the left thumb and fingers around the right middle finger.
c. Gently wrap the left thumb and fingers around the right little finger.

The above 3 simple steps revitalize the energy pattern. They remove tensions which cause the attitude of WORRY.

Index Finger ~ Fear (Timidity, mental confusion, depression, perfectionism, criticism, frustration, desire for life) is an imbalance in our “individualized” bladder and kidney energy pattern.

a. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right thumb.
b. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right index finger.
c. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right little finger.

The above 3 simple steps revitalize the energy pattern. They remove tensions which cause the attitude of FEAR.

Middle Finger ~ Anger (Cowardly, irritable, indecisive, unstable, not alert, emotional) is an imbalance in our “individualized” gall bladder and liver energy pattern.

a. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around right little finger.
b. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around right ring finger.
c. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around right middle finger.

The above 3 simple steps revitalize the energy pattern. They remove tensions which cause the attitude of ANGER.

Ring Finger ~ Grief (Negative, mucus forming, common sense) is an imbalance in our “individualized” lung and large intestine energy pattern.

a. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right thumb.
b. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right index finger.
c. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right middle finger.
d. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right ring finger.

The above 4 simple steps revitalize the energy pattern. They remove tensions which cause the attitude of GRIEF.

Little Finger ~ Pretense (cover-up) (Crying on the inside and laughing on the outside, insecure, nervous, confused, mortality) is an imbalance in our “individualized” heart and small intestine energy pattern.

a. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right little finger.
b. Gently wrap left thumb and fingers around the right ring finger.

The above 2 simple steps revitalize the energy pattern. They remove tensions which cause the attitude of PRETENSE (cover-up).

The above is the sequence for the right side energy pattern.
The sequence for the left side of the body is simply in reverse.

I don´t no if I have understand correctly this post.

This indications is when we use our jumper cables in another person, right?

If we take the example of index finger, one hand takes the left thumb (my right hand) and the other (my left hand) hand embrace index, middle, ring, little finger one by one of the other hand, except the thumb. Is that right ?

I usually associate depression with ring finger, because of sadness, but if I see depression with a lack of movement and mental confusion, index is ok.

Hello Duarte,
These flows are for self-help from Mary’s 3 textbooks: Jin Shin Jyutsu Is, Now Know Myself It Is and Now Know Myself It Is Is. These are flows that you do for yourself. It would be nice to give yourself this self-help flow while another does the same self-help flow…it is my belief that “together” energy is very strong. Gassho.

We are continuing to read about Safety Energy Lock 17 from issue Number 20, Spring 1998. Here is what Jed Schwartz shared about his experience of SEL 17:

I sit holding my 17′s waiting and hoping for the germination of an idea for this issue of The Main Central. This is one of the functions of 17, as I remember Mary sharing in class. I’m getting very relaxed – mind emptying – and a wonderful peacefulness fills me as I become aware of 17 flowing through me.

Seventeen is located in the valley between the two bumps on the back of the little finger side of the wrist. Certain practices of meditation utilize S.E.L. 17 by resting the wrists with the palms facing upward on the knees, which are in a cross leg or seated position. These postures are supposed to help facilitate a positive openness for meditation, contemplation and reflection.

S.E.L. 17 relates to spirit as well as to reproduction, similar to S.E.L. 13. Seventeen is spirit, the soul; and being an ascending Safety Energy Lock and on the Mediator, it brings forth the action of spirit ascending. Thirteen – the fertility specialist – is a descending Safety Energy Lock and is spirit descending into form.

I remember a client who had great anxiety and a history of mental-emotional stress: she would always fidget by wringing (circling) her wrists, first one and then the other, whether standing, sitting or lying down. She said that the greater the anxiety, the faster she would do this ritual in order to soothe herself. When I held her 17′s, they were throbbing with a rapid pulse. The suggestion to consciously hold S.E.L. 17 while exhaling helped to soothe her more effectively and activated 17′s harmonizing power.

I am now being the experience of 17, helping creative thinking. Enjoy being 17!

Hello again,
for me is very dificult to know if a sel lock is related to spirit, mind or body.
How coud change my way of think to understand this ?
I have seen a reference to a tarot book is other post, do you think is good?

Yes, Duarte. The answer is yes. In “Jin Shin Jyutsu Is – Book I”, Mary says, “Introducing Jin Shin Jyutsu “Is”, is only to awaken our AWARENESS as to what “being” is. It is simply the Getting to KNOW (Help) MYSELF. Through Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness is awakened to the simple fact that all that is needed for harmony and balance (rhythm with the universe) physically, mentally, emotionally, digestively and spiritually is within MYSELF. Through this awareness, the feeling of complete peace, serenity, security, the oneness within is evident.”

My awareness of Jin Shin Jyutsu helped me understand some religions (I am an ordained minister) and led me to begin to study astrology (solar and Vedic), astronomy, Western Medicine (I was a certified EMT for 4 years, volunteering in my town) and quantum physics. I will need to live another 250 years to be able to wrap my brain around all this information, but a willingness to learn and an open mind are useful. I hasten to add that study doesn’t automatically trigger belief, nor should it. I have been seeking the TRUTH since I was 6. I have found many promoted truths to be, in fact, lies.
